Photograph 1: A young woman in her late teens or twenties studies alone at home in a quiet, tidy bedroom. She sits on a grey chair at a large wooden desk that fills the foreground, leaning forward with her head down as she concentrates on a thick open textbook and writes in a spiral notebook with a pen held in her right hand. Her dark hair is tied up in a loose bun and she wears a plain dark grey sweatshirt. The textbook pages are marked with yellow and blue highlighting and include a small colour map or globe illustration. Beside her an open silver laptop displays a webpage with text, coloured panels and images, though the words are too small to read.
