Exam Simulator
Every part in order, like on exam day. Your answers and scores wait until you finish.
No simulated exams yet
Simulated exams use the same exercises as the Exams tab, so you may meet one here that you've practised there, and the other way round. Your simulator scores are kept separate.
Exam Simulator guide
Sit a whole paper, like on exam day
Practise under exam conditions. No help, no answers, and your score at the end.
What it is
A full paper in one go
Choose a paper
Reading & Use of English, Listening or Writing. Speaking is not simulated.
Every part, in order
The simulator picks one exam for each part of the paper. Answer every question in a part to move on.
Your time
A clock counts your time. At the end you see it next to the real exam's time. Time never changes your score.
The rules
Like the real exam
No answers until the end
You see no scores and no explanations until you finish the exam.
No help
Tips, Notes and the Dictionary are off during a simulated exam.
Go back and change
You can return to a part you did and change your answers until you finish.
Leave and come back
Close the exam whenever you like. Your answers are kept.
When you finish
Your review
Your score
The exam's score is the average of its parts, out of 10. 6 or more is a pass.
Part by part
Open each part to see your answers and the explanations.
Writing
In a Writing exam, the AI corrects each part when you finish. That costs 1 AI credit per part.
Free and PRO
How many exams you get
One free exam
A free account gets one simulated exam. It cannot be restarted or deleted, so sit it when you feel ready.
With PRO
Sit as many exams as you like, Writing included. You can also restart an exam and delete old ones.
The simulator uses the same exams as the Exams tab, so you may meet one you already know. Your simulator scores are kept apart from your practice.
